The Piedmont NC Chapter of the American Guild of Organists hopes you will join us as we gather to grow professional skills, socialize & network with fellow church musicians, enjoy a catered dinner and fabulous concert, and more!
We all live busy lives, so this symposium--split between Greensboro on Friday and Winston-Salem on Saturday--is brief but full of exciting opportunities. We are passionate about professional development and thrilled to offer a variety of workshops that we hope will aid organists in their careers, no matter if they are just beginning in the field, are experienced and degreed, or are retired or semi-retired. Participants will be able to choose courses in Injury Prevention Techniques, Conducting at the Console, Conducting Instrumentalists, Basic Organ Maintenance, Dealing with Performance Anxiety, and more. Concert organist Damin Spritzer will not only present a sure-to-be wonderful concert on the Letourneau Organ at First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, NC, but will also lead a survey of newly composed and newly discovered works for organ at Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC. We are thrilled to bring this talented organist and scholar to our Chapter and to have a chance to grow our repertoire, as well. PRICING
